You’ve seen dozens of posts from him  already – so it’s probably about time we  announced the latest addition to the Fresh Egg copywriting team:  SEO Copywriter John Pring

John is 26 years old and is originally from Manchester, although he grew up in Herefordshire. John graduated from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth with a degree in Film and Media, and then purely out of fear of getting a full time job (spookily similar history to Bisset..) he completed a second degree at Brighton, graduating from the Brighton Institute of Modern Music  (BIMM) with a degree in professional musicianship.

Since John graduated nearly  two and a half years ago, he’s been working as a freelancer in several different roles. He’s managed and developed three bands (imaginatively called 1, 2 and 3), as well as booking UK and European tours for a number of others.

He’s also worked for a music promotions company, working on festivals such as Secret Garden Party, White Air Extreme Sports Festival and The Great Escape, as well as booking and running Brighton Club NME with another local promoter. Working in the music industry John got a huge amount of experience in writing press releases, biographies and website copy, which he feels has given him a good grounding in copywriting – the boy has a lot to learn -but isn’t making too bad a fist of it so far!

After moving away from the music scene slightly, John began working as a graphic designer and web designer, working with projects and individuals ranging from Skindred (international heavy metal band from Wales) to ZT Fight Night (a mixed martial arts event in Brighton), before settling down quite happily at Fresh Egg.

According to John he’s extremely happy to be here, and has already learnt a huge amount about SEO from his colleagues and the senior members of staff. He’s disappointed not to be the best pool player in the team (we suspect Paul Chaloner – see previous Bunnie post  - more info later –  may well be a secret hustler )  although outside of the office he’ll continue to pretend that he is.
