What with the pathetic Pound, the droopy Dollar, the yo-yoing Yen and the erratic Euro, world currencies seem to be all over the place. Even local towns and villages appear to be printing their own money – Lewes in Sussex for example has its own “Lewes Pound” scheme going at the minute! Well, Fresh Egg client Liberty seems to have hit upon one monetary unit that won’t loose its value and prestige – the Liberty Gift Coin.    They’re a great idea for birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas (or Xmas for those agnostics among us). They come in four denominations (£10, £25, £50 and £100) and are beautifully packaged in a purple Liberty pouch.  They can be redeemed at any time and we think they actually look prettier than the real thing – well they were designed by the Royal Mint – and are probably worth more now too!
