When Bumblebee Met the Digital Marketing Crowd: Fresh Egg at Jump 2013

On Wednesday 9 October 2013, Fresh Egg sponsored the Econsultancy Jump event for the second year, as part of the Festival of Marketing.

It wasn’t just the usual human members of the Fresh Egg team who headed down to Old Billingsgate in London – our very own Transformer friend Bumblebee also made an appearance.

Bumblebee proved quite a hit with the digital marketing crowd, all of whom attended the event as part of a week of activity addressing all things within the Econsultancy Modern Marketing Manifesto.

It was a busy day for all, with lots of people to talk to, sessions to present and attend, and of course making sure the star of our stand – Bumblebee himself – was on best behaviour.

Our head of insight, Dara Fitzgerald, presented on advanced features within Google Analytics. The session was fully pre-booked before the event, and proved very popular with those who attended.

Fresh Egg was also there to speak to delegates about our new Not Provided Tool currently in beta testing. The tool assists brands with not provided data by learning about the visits to a site using neural networks. Automated learning from past visitor patterns creates a model which is then used to unpick ‘not provided’ visits – giving insights into the most likely keywords used.

As we’ve mentioned, our very own office mascot Bumblebee was the star of our stand. Delegates had the opportunity to win their very own mini Bumblebee by tweeting their pictures of him, including the hashtag of the day #JUMP13 and @FreshEgg. Here is a taste of some of the pics:
