Say hello to Palashi Pandya who joins Fresh Egg as a Data Analyst to support our Insight and Analytics services by compiling and interpreting web analytics data from sources like Google Analytics. Palashi completed her BSc in computer science at Fergusson College in central India before transferring to the University of Sussex to complete an MSc in IT for E-commerce. So she’s very well equipped to aid the team in using and interpreting web analytics to prepare detailed strategic overviews and plans that align our client’s business objectives with their web analytics and online marketing programmes.
Palashi is also passionate about researching social networks and she recently co-authored a research paper titled “an advertising methodology for SMEs on Social Networks” at the IEEE iTAP conference China 2010. She’s also keen on learning more about various E-business models on Social Networks.
Palashi interests are not all number crunching or social media though! She enjoys singing, has dabbled in Am-Dram, loves making candles of all hues and scents and keeps experimenting with different cuisines in the kitchen. Trekking and travel, especially exploring beaches and wildlife sanctuaries, also figure highly on her “favourites” list. Palashi also put a lot of time into working with NGOs involved in youth work at home in India and she continues to get actively involved in those areas.
