Has Adam seen the light?
For all of the years that I have known Adam, I have always known him to not be the biggest fan of Mac’s.
I don’t know if it was a fear factor of quality technology or whether he was force fed fruit as a child, but his disdain was evident for anyone daring to use such a machine.
Did anyone else see the Blue Moon this week? Or pigs fly? Well, both events must of occurred, because I saw something that I thought would never happen in a million years.
Adam’s got himself a Mac!
Hang on, I’ll say that again, Adam’s got himself a Mac!
No that can’t be right?
Adam’s got himself a Mac!
Let me put this into context, Adam getting a Mac is like Liverpool & Man United fans swapping Christmas cards rather than punches or Microsoft saying to Google, here you go, here is the details of all of our source code. Basically, ‘it isn’t going to happen’.
Well, I can tell you exactly why he had to change faith. The supposed cream of windows based laptops was no more effective than a box of sawdust.
No that would be a lie; boxes of sawdust can be quite useful. (For what I am not sure, but there must be something.)
In fairness, the Mac is a cracking looking machine which works how it is meant to unlike windows based laptops. Honestly, they just don’t last.
And that is why Adam has been converted to the world of Mac!

My experience with PC laptops pver the years has been v bad – SONY VAIO FINISHED IT OFF – the laptop looks great on the outside but i was a heap of **** – i would never recommend to anyone to get a Sony Vaio – it broke down on serveral occasions and the customer support was bad beyond imagination – any excuse not to help and they would find it. This was the final straw for me!!! This MacBook Pro not only looks great but it works!!! There is no reason to just buy PC anymore – the MAc can do everything. BUY CHEAP and BUY TWICE – the Mac does cost a little more but it will last more than 6 months to a year – my friends Aplle Laptop has lasted over 3 years now – still works as well as it did from day one – still looks great – has travelled around the world and ensured drunken nights playing iTunes music until 3 in the morning. I am never touching another PC thanks to Sony Vaio; their technology and technical support has crashed for the last time as I will never touch it again!
Yep, I know you had a knightmare with the Sony Customer Support team. From what I observed they are extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. It certainly puts me off buying anything Sony.
I think you made the right move getting the Mac, it would be nice of Sony to actually send your laptop back, but I am sure they have another use for it.
I am also sure it is coincidental how so many Sony Vaio’s are confirmed as liquid damage by the Sony tech team, there is plenty of info throughout the web about this.
From the information I read it looks as though you are not the first to be given a torrid time by Sony.
Sony you get 0/10 for not being customer focused with this one, shame on you!
