I have always wanted a ‘proper’ remote control helicopter after I had my first play with a small indoor Silverlit helicopter last Christmas. To my delight we started work on a new website for Modelzone in the middle of 2007. We launched the new website that can be found at www.modelzone.co.uk in time for the Christmas sales. Since the launch of the new website Model Zone have enjoyed an increase in online sales. I like happy customers; Model Zone have just given us our very own Fresh Eggecopter! This radio control helicopter is amazing! It only took a few minutes to get the helicopter out of the box and ready to fly. I took a couple of lads over to the local park and we started to learn how to fly! The RTF Pro Copter Sport comes with a training kit which is great for beginners. It basically helps you to land the helicopter properly – just like having training wheels on your first bike. After a few minutes of working out the controls we got the helicopter hovering about 7 feet off the ground.

This radio control helicopter runs off a battery that can be charged from you car battery (you can also buy a mains charger). It is great for beginners and after our first go we are all hooked. I can’t wait to see how far we can push this thing – it does take a little learning but as with anything good it is worth putting in the effort.
