Lisa Rippon – Making a splash at Fresh Egg
Much-travelled Lisa Rippon is one of our Senior Account Managers, and she came to Fresh Egg via a circuitous route after more than a year of exploring the world. Her 15-month trek took in South America, India, Nepal and South-East Asia, and gave Lisa a lifetime of memories that will stand her in good stead over the coming years.
Chief among them are those spent in and under the water – a certified scuba diver, Lisa enjoyed plenty of opportunities to seek out the octopus, cuttlefish and coral shrimp population. She’s also been snorkelling with whale sharks and penguins, although she’s keen to point out that these experiences didn’t take place at the same time!
A product of Leeds University, Lisa previously worked in account management for a couple of London-based media agencies. Her decision to join our team at Fresh Egg was based on a desire to specialise in the exciting world of digital marketing, as well the opportunity to be close to the sea. We haven’t told her that there aren’t many penguins off the coast of Worthing as yet, but we hope that won’t put her off.
We hear on the grapevine that she’s a dab hand with a cue, too, so the pool table at Fresh Egg Towers will be a favourite haunt, no doubt. The recruitment team at Fresh Egg obviously know a thing or two about spotting talented individuals, because Lisa has actually starred in a Bollywood movie, and once sat in front of Sir Elton John at a Madonna concert. That’s how we like things here in Worthing – real superstars in the front, minor celebrities further back.
Lisa likes to keep active, and has completed 5k and 10k charity runs, raising more than £1,000 for cancer research in the process. What with the running, the scuba diving and her captaincy of the university paragliding club (she insists it was a VERY small club) we at Fresh Egg are delighted to welcome someone who excels on land, sea and air.
