Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it to the SES event, but as GAACs we were invited to Google, London to meet and speak with Avinash Kaushik. We had a great open floor discussion and Avinash kept us all entertained despite being sustained by only Red Bull to keep him with us.
As GAACs we were privy to some insights for Google Analytics developments and ideas. However, if I told you what they were, i would have to kill you :) – so I won’t. But, what I can say is if you have some great ideas (or criticisms), Avinash is open to listening and most of all ‘acting’ if he likes the idea so share all your ideas if you can…
Then we spoke about the attribution ideas that were covered in Jaamit’s post.
I did take my book, Web Analytics 2.0 and get it signed and also insisted on a photo!

After this wonderful Q & A session with one of the Gods of Analytics, I went over to Islington (where SES was held) to meet up with Jaamit and Phil Pearce and see what was going on. SES had finished, so where would all the SES peeps be? But, of course after a long day of typing/and or speaking, one is a little parched – yes, they were all in the pub! Of course I had to join in. I love the post event, slightly wonky networking atmosphere when everyone becomes your new best friend. Here are some of my fav photos from the night.
