Working at Fresh Egg insures a great skiing holiday!

With Christmas and New Year now over for another year, many people are still feeling the hangover long after. This time of year can leave you feeling tired, heavier and poorer, and with good times feeling like a long way off. In order to overcome the feeling of unhappiness that this time of year can bring it’s no surprise that many are looking for a winter break.

Over the past decade I have always found it best to plan a week’s ski-break down to the French Alps at the end of January early February. Over the course of the previous year I will save a percentage of my earnings each month and in November I will book my trip. Not only does it provide me with something to look forward to and a chance to get away, but it is also an opportunity to shed a few pounds gained over Christmas.

However, due to the lack of snow throughout Europe this year I had to rearrange my annual trip to France and look further a field. El Nino hit Canada and North America leaving more than their far share of snow, so I decided that a change of location would be nice.

Before booking the insurance and equipment, however my main task was where in Canada I should travel too. I knew little about the place and didn’t know where to begin, so I called the guys at American Sky. They were able to sort me out accommodation to Banff Caribou Lodge which by all accounts is just outside of Calgary. The snow fall on the west coast of Canada has been exceptional this year and I can’t wait to get out there and get some serious skiing under the belt.

So when I came back to work on the 2nd January, unlike everyone else I was in good spirits as I have only got a short time to go before my skiing break.
